Montana has no posted speed limits - a fact part-time resident David Letterman has often raved about - but 134 in a 50 can still get you pulled over.
The Billings Gazette reports that Shaun Kachina Bell, 32, found that out the hard way Sunday night. Yes ... he was was clocked going 134 m.p.h.
While drunk.

Quite incredibly, and fortunately, Montana State Trooper Kyle Hayter was able to track Bell down ... and found a man passed out in the passenger seat.
Both men appeared to be intoxicated. Bell was charged with a DUI, along with felony criminal endangerment and a misdemeanor count of speeding.
Apparently you can still be ticketed for it if it endangers public safety. Bell was also charged for driving without a license or proof of insurance.
Hayter took Bell to Yellowstone County Jail after a background check revealed outstanding warrants, a suspended license, and two previous DUIs.
Bell is currently $15,000 bail. He is scheduled to be arraigned on June 21.
